WHAT YOU WILL DO 

As the Senior Staff Accountant, you will prepare the general ledger account analysis and reconciliation, month end roll-forwards and variance analysis. You will work across a variety of internal departments in addition to acting as a liaison for external partners, such as franchise owners and auditors. This is a full-time, hybrid role.
  • Perform reconciliation of various cash assets across multiple entities to help ensure Primrose is compliant with applicable treasury recordkeeping and reporting requirements
  • Prepare and analyze income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and various other accounting statements and reports
  • Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
  • Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and develop or recommend accounting methods and procedures
  • Acts as a mentor to staff accountants
  • Coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations, and divisions.
  • Participate in financial reporting and in credit card transaction processing and reconciliation, including personal expense reimbursement
  • Evaluate department operating and reporting processes for continual process improvement opportunities


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • CPA preferred
  • 3+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Public Accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) accounting standards and best practices 
  • Agility and attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with others while maintaining internal controls of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple high priority tasks
  • Credible, honest and high integrity
  • Ability to exercise discretion and judgment
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
