DATA VISUALIZATION SPECIALIST

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the Data Visualization Specialist, you will collect, clean and interpret data sets to answer questions or solve problems within our business. You will also design and develop data visualizations and dashboards using data sets from various sources. This is a full-time, hybrid role.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights that can be used to inform business decisions
- Design and develop visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Data Scientists and with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data visualization solutions that meet their needs
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and reports
- Create and maintain documentation of data visualization processes, tools, and best practices
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and analytics
- Learn the underlying data attributes, metrics, and calculations used within the organization
- Maintain a high level of data integrity and take appropriate action to investigate potential data discrepancies
- Maintain competency in the data repository systems used throughout the organization
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's Degree in statistics, data science, computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in an analytical role or analytics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and in Tableau
- Ability to uphold confidentiality of data and handle data with professional maturity
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external partners
- Agility and high attention to detail
- Verbal and written communication skills
