WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Coach will provide onboarding support to a variety of Franchise Owners (Owners/Operators) in the process of building or acquiring a Primrose School. They will have full ownership for the onboarding experience of their assigned Franchise Owners including providing feedback early and often to the Franchise Owner and Director of New School Support that allows for course correction if onboarding objectives are not on track or not met. Our ideal Coach will generate a culture of positivity and accountability with Franchise Owners to ensure they meet their goals, foster trusted relationships, and influence results within their assigned school portfolio. This role travels approximately 35%; travel will differ by location and may include car and airline travel.


Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Ensures completion of all onboarding training and provides feedback internally to enhance the onboarding experience for future Franchise Owners
  • Provides support onsite during the construction and opening phase (train the trainer)
  • Supports the Franchise Owner in preparing the physical set up of the school to meet brand standards
  • Acts as the go to for all Franchise Owner questions and serves as the facilitator for relationships
  • Introduces the Franchise Owner to key internal stakeholders throughout the onboarding journey
  • Engages the Franchise Owner in goal setting and follows up on agreed actions and time frames
  • Actively works to achieve the performance measures and targets for schools in an assigned territory by leveraging the Primrose Principles of Leadership
  • Gives constructive feedback that promotes accountability
  • Adjusts their style to meet the needs and level of expertise of the Franchise Owner
  • Shares strengths and opportunities that could impact a Franchise Owner’s performance
  • Partners with Franchise Owners to establish what each party can expect from one another 
  • Creates a trusting, supporting environment where honest and frank conversations can occur
  • Asks meaningful and relevant questions that stimulate clarity and insight or move the Franchise Owner towards their goals
  • Checks for understanding and recommends resources for areas where clarity is needed      
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We seek to build teams of individuals who maintain trusted relationships, demonstrate accountability, influence without authority, have a service mindset, agility and curiosity. Our ideal candidate will possess a mix of the following skills and competencies:
  • 5+ years’ experience in multi-unit management, franchising, early childcare, etc.
  • Firm understanding of State and National Accreditation and State Childcare Licensing rules and regulations preferred
  • Four-year degree in Early Childhood Education, Business, or related field preferred; Experience in a related field will compensate for formal educational training
  • Ability to tackle projects with a high degree of autonomy
  • Ability to solve problems independently
  • Ability to influence without authority 
  • Ability to manage time and multiple competing priorities while maintaining service excellence 
  • Proven organization skills
  • Proficiency in the following technologies: Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Power Point, Word, and Excel 
  • Ability to navigate conflict and difficult conversations
